Constellations

1 Sep

The constellations formed a new culture in thinking, one that was very powerful to have lasted until now. It may also be the reasoning for heralding in the manmade god concept and the alien reasoning.

The Constellation of the Stars forms the Zodiac. The actual origin of the Zodiac is unknown. The Egyptian and Greek Zodiacs consist of 12 signs. In actuality there are 13 constellations the Sun passes through and the extra one is Ophiuchus which is not used by modern day astrologers. The Babylonian Zodiac originally consisted of 18 signs. The Maya Indian Zodiac had 20 signs.

The oldest imagery is the Zodiac. It reflects the Sun as it figuratively passes through the 12 major constellations over a course of a year. This reflects the 12 months of the year. This chart also identifies the four seasons – elements of nature, solaces and equinoxes. The zodiac was brought to life by the symbolism of figures and animals – and perhaps the gods and the aliens.

In ancient Egypt and other cultures, recognizes approximately every 2150/2200 years the sun rises in the morning of the Spring Equinox and would occur in a different sign of the Zodiac, called an ‘Age’. It is called a precession because the constellations go backwards rather than through the yearly forward cycles as we know it in personal charts. The time it takes to go through all 12 signs is approximately 25,765 years. This is also called ‘The Great Year’. The 13,000 years referring to half of this cycle I call ‘Era of the Great Year’ and subsequently – I have called this Era: ‘The Era of the Gods’. This is for obvious reason because the frantic idea of the god concept was born around this time.

The Age of Leo = 11,000 BCE – 8,800 BCE
The Age of Cancer = 8800 BCE – 6600 BCE
The Age of Gemini = 6600 BCE – 4400 BCE
The Age of Taurus = 4400 BCE – 2200 BCE
The Age of Aries = 2200 BCE – 1 CE
(Year ‘0’ was not recorded)
The Age of Pisces = 1 CE ending in 2012 CE

2012 was dated by the Maya Indians as the end of the Long Calendar. The figures above have been rounded off. There is a discrepancy of the actual years from astrologers and since I am not an avid follower I am using this only as a point of interest.

The Zodiac became the source of many myths in antiquity. The Sun and the Moon played a major part in the mythological gods of antiquity. And perhaps there was more at play in that time.

The Sun, Moon and the collection of stars in the astrological chart formed patterns and became the basis of creating many superstitions.

Perhaps when an object, an occurrence or happening is not understood then this can lead to something mystic and becomes a mythology.

From the celestial bodies in the sky came the inception of the many gods of antiquity. The pharaohs became the representative of the gods on earth. And perhaps this is also the birth of the alien concept.
